Well, I managed to get my fanny in gear and start writing my next book. I'm up to 3 glorious chapters now. I find it's more energizing to write the end when everything is coming to a head instead of writing the start when you are setting things up and building to what you actually want to write.
Plus, this current endeavor is still kind of developing in my head. That's just an excuse. You get ideas when you are writing, not when you are waiting for inspiration.
I still battle with the self-doubt of wondering why I often don't feel like writing. I feel like it when I get into it, and I LOVE finishing books, but when it's a matter of write vs. goof off, you can guess which one wins out more often.
